A new report by New York Lawyers for the Public Interest (NYLPI), a member of the Phys Ed 4 All Coalition, analyzed data released by the NYC Department of Education for the 2015-2016 school year which reveals disparities and recommends strategies for improving the rates of physical education instruction across the city.

The release of this data was required under Local Law 102 passed in 2015.
